Unstoppable

Too many churches in the 21^st century choose the safe path, the safe course, the safe way of doing things.  Usually they are the things they have done for generations and have come to believe that is what the church is about.  In the end it’s usually the organization that triumphs over the spirit and the church over the mission.  The church today must adjust to the changing world or risk becoming irrelevant.  We must move from being a religious institution to an unstoppable movement for Jesus Christ in the world.  The church must become a living thing that is able to reproduce itself over and over again.  It becomes an unstoppable movement for Christ as the Holy Spirit breathes life into its heart, soul, and mind.  The life of the church is the heart of God and the heart of God is to serve a broken world.  I hope this series of messages titled “Unstoppable” will awaken some of the passions that may be lying dormant in our lives and in our church.
