The Kingdom Now! ministry of The Valley is at work in the Valley Station community of Louisville.  We are a congregation that  gives a radical welcome to everyone and is reaching out to the community with the radical love of Jesus.  It is a place where lives are changed and disciples are made.

Welcome to The Valley

The Valley is a Kingdom Now Ministry that is reaching into the Valley Station,and Pleasure Ridge Park communities with Jesus' radical love.  The Valley is committed to transforming lives and this community.  By serving others we serve God.  Our Kingdom Now Ministry is built upon the words of Jesus when he is given a scroll written by the prophet Isaiah and reads...

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.  He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."...Then he began to say to them, "Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing."  (Luke 4:18-19, 21)

We believe you can experience the Kingdom of God today, we are called to make the Kingdom of God real for people now by living out the call to ministry Jesus gave, to serve God by serving other people.  God is at work on our campus.  God is working to deepen our relationship with him but also to deepen our concern for people in our community. 

We invite you to visit our campus and experience our Kingdom Now Ministry first hand.  We have a "come as you are" attitude, so what you wear isn't as important as the fact you are there.

   The 31-W Group (AA, Al-Anon) meets at 8:00pm.

Tuesday February 14

    The Learning Center @ The Valley opens at 4:00pm for homework assistance and tutoring for eligible elementary students.

   The Pastor's Bible Study (Ephesians) begins at 7:00pm.  All are welcome.

Wednesday February 15

   The JOY Group (seniors ministry) meets at 11:30am.  Bring your own lunch and be prepared to have a great time.

Thursday February 16

   The Learning Center @ The Valley opens at 4:00pm for homework assistance and tutoring for eligible elementary students.

   Cub Scout Pack 377 meets at 7:00pm.

   Boy Scout Troop 377 meets at 7:30pm.

Sunday February 19

   Kingdom Connect meets at 9:15am in the 2nd floor library.  Meet with Rev. Ed and learn more about The Valley's mission and vision and our foundational beliefs.

   The Valley celebrates the work of The Learning Center during morning worship.

   "Great Bowls of Fire" Chili Cook-off at The Valley following worship!  Dust off your favorite chili recipe and cook up a big pot of chili.  It's a great time of fun and fellowship.  All are welcome.
